Bangal Famine of 1943

Bangal Famine of 1943 | The year was 1942, World War II was at its peak and Japan had occupied countries like Myanmar and Singapore which were under British rule. And the British government had no way to stop Japan.

Because at this time most of the British Indian Army was sent to fight on behalf of the British in the Middle East and due to this there was a shortage of troops on the Western Front.

And at that time in October 1942 a big cyclone comes in Bengal and due to this Japan has to stop its campaign to occupy Bengal.

And the British knew that after this disaster was over, the Japanese army would move forward to occupy Bengal. The then British Prime Minister Churchill plans a genocide of the farmers of Bengal to destroy this campaign of the Japanese army.

And already due to the cyclone, the crops of the farmers of Bengal had been destroyed and the British snatched the remaining paddy from the farmers of Bengal and their cattle from the farmers. And all these resources looted by the British from the farmers of Bengal are sent to the British army fighting in Europe.

This is done so that if the Japanese army captures Bengal, they will not get anything in their hands. And because of this, more than 3 lakh Indians die in agony.
